Overview

Water is a mobile app for iOS and Android that helps you track your daily water intake. Water is a local-first app: your drinking data is stored directly on your device, and there is no account or sign-in required. This Privacy Policy explains what limited information the app collects, how it is used, and how you can contact us with questions.

Data Stored On Your Device

The following data is stored only on your device, using local storage. It is never uploaded to our servers or shared with anyone:

• Your daily water intake log - the amount and time of every drink you add.
• Your daily water goal and any custom goal settings you configure.
• Optional profile details, such as age, weight, or height, if you choose to enter them to help calculate a suggested goal.
• Your reminder schedule and notification preferences.

Because this data lives on your device, uninstalling the app or clearing its storage will permanently delete it. We have no way to recover it.

Anonymous Usage Data We Collect

To understand how Water is used and to improve the app, we collect a small amount of anonymous usage data on our servers. This includes:

• An anonymous device identifier that is not linked to your name, email, or any personal account.
• Basic device information - device model and operating system version.
• The app version you are using.
• The volumes of water you log, used only to understand usage patterns.

This data cannot be used to identify you personally. We use it for product analytics and to let our team monitor how the app is performing. We do not sell it or share it with advertisers.

Reminders & Notifications

Water can send you optional local reminders to drink water throughout the day, based on the schedule you set in the app. These reminders are scheduled and delivered entirely on your device through the operating system's local notification system - they never pass through our servers, and we keep no record of them. You can turn reminders on or off, or change their schedule, at any time from the app's settings.

No Ads, No Third-Party Tracking

Water does not display advertising and does not use any third-party advertising or tracking SDKs. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with data brokers, ad networks, or other third parties for marketing purposes.

Data Retention & Deletion

Local data - your water log, goal, profile details, and reminders - stays on your device for as long as the app is installed. It is deleted automatically when you uninstall the app or clear its storage from your device settings.

Anonymous usage data sent to our servers is retained for a limited period for analytics purposes and cannot be tied back to you individually. If you have questions about the anonymous usage data we hold, contact us at the email address below.

Children's Privacy

Water is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and since the app does not require sign-in or ask for identifying details, no personal data is collected from any user, child or adult.

Security

Anonymous usage data sent to our servers is transmitted using HTTPS/TLS encryption. Data stored locally on your device is protected by your device's own operating system security.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be published at https://supafast.tech/water/privacy with a revised effective date. Continued use of the app after changes are published means you accept the updated policy.
