Summary
Supafast SEO Extension analyzes the active web page in your browser to show SEO audit results and optional on-page highlights. We do not operate a backend that receives your browsing history or page content.
Data We Do Not Collect
Supafast SEO Extension does not collect, transmit, sell, or share:
- Browsing history
- Full page HTML sent to Supafast servers
- Personal information
- Analytics or crash telemetry to Supafast
- Advertising identifiers
Data Stored Locally
The extension stores the following in your browser using chrome.storage.sync and chrome.storage.local:
- Highlight toggle settings (H1, H2, H3-H6, follow, nofollow, missing alt)
- Global power on/off state
- Per-site pause list
- Local audit history snapshots for title, meta, canonical, and H1 on URLs you revisit
chrome.storage.sync may sync these settings across your signed-in Chrome devices through your Google account. Supafast does not control or access that sync channel.
Network Requests
The extension reads the active tab DOM locally when you open the popup. It may fetch robots.txt, sitemap.xml, or the current page URL only when you click crawl or audit actions in the popup. Those requests go directly from your browser to the target site, not through Supafast servers.
Third-Party Services
The extension does not embed third-party analytics SDKs or remote logging services.
